Coit Tower

The Coit Tower on top of the Telegraph Hill is one of the city's landmarks, supposed to resemble a fire hose nozzle, a reminder of the brave firefighters who fought the 1906 fire. The tower is a contribution of Lillie Hitchcock Coit for the beautification of the city.
