The Kodak Theater is the home of the Academy Awards. It opened in 2001 and had its first Oscar Award in March 2002. The theater is part of the Hollywood & Highland entertainment complex which is one of the biggest attractions in Hollywood. The theater was sponsored by the Kodak Company paying some millions to have its name associated to the building.
