Drachenfels Castle

This is a ruin of a castle on top of the Drachenfels which was built during the 12th century. According to legends, on this rocky top, Siegfried (a German epic hero) had the dragon slain.

This famous site is still a walk to the top from where the Drachenfels train is stopping but definitely worth seeing.
