The house was owned by Anna Sybilla Schad von Mittelbieberach, a patrician of Frankfurt during the 18th century. Because of not having offspring, she was donating all her properties including this house to a foundation which is financing the education of the young people coming from the area Alten Limpurg. These days, the house is one of the biggest sources of income for the foundation. Its location brings out lots of interested renters.
