People visit the city during this cold season to see and experience its grandiose Christmas Market. The most famous of course is the one on the Roncalliplatz, facing the south transept of the Cathedral of Cologne. Though it's really getting cold during this time but the warmth atmosphere is always present attracting not only the townsfolk but also tourists.
