Buttermarkt is a famous place in the old town for its restaurants, beer gardens and pubs. Some old houses here are renovated as hotels. It is directly facing the river Rhine and is known for its lively atmosphere. During summer, restaurants are extending to the outside so you can basically eat and enjoy the river view.
